I just foster cats. Why would I even consider having a dedicated social media platform?
Even if the organization you are fostering for provides all of the basic items you need, having a community that will help with other items that you specifically want for your fosters will help! Need a new play pen? Want specific beds, or any item that isn’t provided for you? Fostering can get expensive quickly and if you have an online community that believes in what you are doing, they will help! Plus, just having an online presence will inspire other people to foster or in the very least, not look the other way when they see a kitty in need. And we all want to help more cats, right?

I really don’t have a lot of extra time. Will this really help me?
Yes! As long as you have 5-15 minutes a day, you can have an engaged community on social media. It doesn’t have to be super fancy or elaborate. With Social Media Meowgic you can easily find one post a day to share your story. If you want to grow even more or do more than one platform, you’ll need to carve out some extra time. To start and be successful though, you don’t have to be your own full time social media manager.
